About Hartes Metal.
Hartes Metal is German for tough metal.
Every design was engineered from scratch by our own team in California. Our off road line takes the multi layer, directional drawing normally seen on car wheels and keeps the tough look the culture is built on.

THE TEAM
California
From the concept sketch to 3D modelling, from FEA to mould design, every single line on the drawing was thought out from the back of the wheel to the front. That is why every Hartes Metal wheel carries Designed and Engineered in California on the back.
Cast the wheel. Then forge the lip and the back of it.
The first company in the world to offer this process, after twenty years of making wheels.

Locked in the mould
The cast piece is propped above a steel mould on a locking mechanism that controls the motion into forging.

Three rollers
Extreme pressure shapes the aluminium against the mould, one side at a time, and the rollers return.

No heat, more strength
The shape changes under pressure alone. No heat is needed, and the wheel comes out stronger for it.
A different cap for every bolt pattern.
Half alloy, half ABS, with a 3D H logo you can have painted to match the truck. The cap part number sits on every row of the fitment table.

It contours around the lug holes
A six point cap cut for 6 x 135 and 6 x 139.7. The nuts stay visible and the gap is right, because the cap is made for that bolt pattern and no other.

Or it covers them
The cover cap closes the face completely. Same logo, same finishes, a different look on the same wheel.
